The project to upgrade and expand provincial road 753 and build Ma Da bridge connecting Long Thanh airport and Cai Mep - Thi Vai port was approved by the Provincial People's Committee for investment and construction in Decision No. 2118/QD-UBND dated December 27, 2023 with a total investment of 480 billion VND. The project is 13km long, passing through Dong Tam, Tan Loi communes and Binh Phuoc ward, Dong Nai province.

The compensation and site clearance work for the project is assigned to the Land Fund Development Center, Dong Xoai Branch and Dong Phu Branch. Up to now, the units have basically completed the inventory and confirmation of the current land status.

However, in order to speed up the project progress, recently, the Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board has coordinated with local authorities, the Land Fund Development Center, Dong Xoai Branch and Dong Phu Branch to mobilize people to hand over the land in advance for construction. Up to now, people have been mobilized to hand over about 70% of the land area in advance for construction of the road surface.

Regarding construction work, the project currently has 4 construction packages being implemented with a volume reaching about 45% of the signed contract value.

According to the Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board, in addition to the sections where people were encouraged to hand over land in advance for road construction, there are still some sections where land is not available for construction. Therefore, the unit requested the Provincial Land Fund Development Center to direct the Dong Xoai Branch and Dong Phu Branch Land Fund Development Center to actively coordinate with relevant units to speed up the progress of land clearance for project construction.

At the same time, Dong Nai Electricity is requested to promptly organize the relocation of the power line system out of the construction area, creating conditions to speed up the project implementation progress.

The project to upgrade and expand provincial road 753 and build Ma Da bridge is invested with the goal of forming an inter-regional traffic route of the province, creating an inter-regional traffic axis from the Central Highlands provinces through Dong Nai province to Long Thanh Airport and Cai Mep - Thi Vai port.
