Last week, Brentford rejected a £55m (including add-ons) bid from Manchester United for Mbeumo.
After coach Thomas Frank moved to lead Tottenham, the London team immediately jumped in, ready to pay 70 million pounds to win the service of the Cameroon striker.
However, the 25-year-old striker himself still wants to join the Old Trafford team. In addition, goalkeeper Andre Onana is also actively lobbying, convincing his compatriot to move to MU.

According to Manchester Evening News, MU's big boss believes they will succeed in signing Mbeumo, because the Cameroon striker only wants to join the "theater of dreams".
Bryan Mbeumo has one year left on his contract, with an option to extend for a further 12 months. Brentford know they will have a hard time keeping hold of him, who scored 20 goals and provided eight assists in the Premier League last season.
