A Bola revealed that Al Nassr sent an official transfer offer to Chelsea and a personal offer to Felix. The Saudi Arabian club is said to be very close to owning the Portuguese striker. Previously, Felix seemed to have joined Benfica.
Earlier this week, Benfica offered €25 million for 50% of Felix's rights. Chelsea accepted the offer to push the Portuguese star out. The deal is likely to be completed before July 27. Benfica have also agreed personal terms with Felix.
The 25-year-old star wanted to return to his old team to revive his career. However, with the interest of Al Nassr - a team with strong financial potential thanks to the support of the Saudi Arabian Public Investment Fund (PIF) - everything changed.
With high salary and great ambition, Al Nassr quickly convinced Felix. Chelsea, the team that still has a contract with Felix until 2031, obviously preferred Al Nassr's proposal to optimize profits.
Felix joined Chelsea in August 2024 for nearly 50 million euros from Atletico, but has not lived up to expectations. He is a versatile player who can play in many different positions such as central striker, winger, attacking midfielder and second striker. Felix made 40 appearances for Chelsea in two different spells and scored 11 goals.
