Vinh Long: Cao Dai Tien Thien Church is closely connected with the nation, uniting religion and life

The Cao Dai Tien Thien Church has made many efforts in building spacious worship facilities, contributing to strengthening solidarity, creating internal consensus and actively participating in meaningful social activities.

On September 5 (July 14, At Ty), at Chau Minh Holy See Temple, Tien Thuy Commune, Vinh Long Province, the Cao Dai Tien Thien Church held the 7th Congress of Humanity Delegates, term 2025-2030.

The congress had more than 490 delegates, including dignitaries and officials, representing 133 parishes, with more than 78,000 religious followers in 8 provinces and cities across the country.

Speaking at the Congress, Mr. Nguyen Phuc Nguyen - Head of Cao Dai Department, Government Committee for Religious Affairs highly appreciated the results that the Cao Dai Tien Thien Church achieved in the past term.

The church has made many efforts in building spacious worship facilities, contributing to strengthening solidarity, creating internal consensus and actively participating in meaningful social activities.

In addition, the Cao Dai Tien Thien Church has actively guided followers to conduct stable religious activities, comply with the law, consolidate and build organizations at all levels; open classes on religious conduct, train religious doctrine and canon law for dignitaries and officials, print and distribute scriptures, and disseminate religious practice guidelines for people...

In addition, the Church also encourages believers, dignitaries, and officials to actively participate in patriotic emulation movements, labor production movements, and expand social charity activities, such as: free medical examination and treatment, helping flood victims and those in difficult and disadvantaged circumstances in society, with a total budget of more than 97 billion VND.

In particular, during the COVID-19 outbreak in Vietnam, the Cao Dai Tien Thien Church actively joined hands with all levels and sectors to prevent and fight the epidemic, contributing to gradually controlling, preventing and repelling the epidemic.

Mr. Nguyen Phuc Nguyen hopes that, in the new term, all dignitaries, officials and followers of the Cao Dai Tien Thien Church will practice religion with one heart under the leadership of the Supreme Council and the Standing Committee of the Church, preserve religion, stay close to the nation, unite religion and life, and together implement well the Party's guidelines and policies and the State's laws, the Charter and regulations on religious practice.

The Cao Dai Tien Thien Church will successfully carry out its sacred mission of educating and practicing religion, and well implement the path of religious practice closely linked to the nation, following the motto "Serving religion, loving country - Honoring the bright religion", contributing to building a strong and prosperous Vietnam.

According to Venerable Master Thuong Quang Thanh, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Church, during the past term, the entire religion has been in harmony, making efforts, and striving to achieve many achievements of the religion.

The spirit of solidarity is strengthened, the relationship with all levels of government and the Church is close, especially the high consensus on streamlining the two-level local government apparatus in the era of national growth.

The Congress set out the direction of religious administrative activities; discussed and contributed opinions on 3 key points, 9 major goals of the Church, and draft documents submitted to the Congress for the 2025-2030 term.

An important content at this Congress is the amendment of the Charter, to ensure compliance with the Law on Belief and Religion and related legal regulations, while meeting practical requirements in the management of religious affairs.

The Congress voted to recognize the 7th term of the Church, including 6 dignitaries in the Supreme Assembly and 15 dignitaries in the Standing Committee of the Church, with Chief Coordinator Thuong Phong Thanh - secular name Huynh Thanh Phong as Head of the Committee./.
