[Video] Ministry of Education and Training revises and supplements the curriculum of a number of subjects according to new regulations

The Ministry of Education and Training issued Circular No. 17/2025/TT-BGDDT dated September 12, amending and supplementing a number of contents in the General Education Program for the subjects: History and Geography at primary and secondary levels; Geography grade 12; History grade 10; Civic Education grade 10, to ensure compliance with the Constitution and Resolution of the National Assembly.

The adjusted content for History and Geography for primary and secondary schools and Geography for grade 12 focuses on socio -economic regional issues: organization of production territories of some industries, regional boundaries; names and number of provinces and cities in the region; area size, population; development resources, development situation and distribution of industries; other contents ensure logic.

The 10th grade Civic Education Program is revised in the topics “ Political system of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam” and “Constitution of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam”. History subject adds the 10th grade optional topic “State and law of Vietnam in history”.
