For the people, no matter how difficult the task is

In the border area, as soon as the Dak Lak Provincial Military Command had a plan for mass mobilization work, the Defense Command of Area 3-Ea Sup quickly started to carry out the task. With the spirit of pioneering and serving the people, the unit closely coordinated with the People's Committee of Ea Sup commune and Buon Don commune to select Jang Lanh hamlet, Buon Don commune and Drao, Ea Kroa, and C hamlets of Ea Sup commune to carry out mass mobilization work this time, because this is an area with a large number of ethnic minorities, poor households, and policy families living.

Officers and soldiers of the Defense Command of Area 3-Ea Sup coordinated with the youth union of Buon Don commune to clean up the environmental landscape.

One of the most outstanding and effective activities is helping poor households and policy families repair and build new spacious solidarity houses, build solid and hygienic auxiliary works, contributing to significantly improving living conditions, bringing comfort and convenience to people. As in the case of Ms. H'Yem Siu, a Gia Rai ethnic in Ea Sup commune, who is raising two small children alone, her family has been listed as a poor household for many years. Recently, she received financial support from the local authorities to rebuild her dilapidated house, and soldiers helped build the yard and gate. Ms. H'Yem Siu shared: "My two children and I cannot do heavy work, fortunately thanks to the local government and soldiers helping to level the land to build a house, thanks to that, my family has a spacious and clean house like today. I am very grateful to the soldiers!"

In Buon Don commune, Mr. Y Bach Kđoh's family is one of the households that received financial support from the local government to build a house of gratitude. To save money, he decided to build it himself. To help the family build their dream house, the soldiers did not hesitate to help with tasks such as leveling the ground, painting, etc. Mr. Y Bach Kđoh said: "Thanks to the help of the soldiers, the construction of the house for my family was much faster, saving time, money and effort. My wife and I are very happy to have a spacious and solid house to live in."

Gratitude meal of young soldiers

In recent years, whenever they have the opportunity to visit villages, Regiment 584 (Dak Lak Provincial Military Command) often organizes gratitude meals at the families of those who have contributed to the revolution. This year, coming to Ea Kiet commune, Regiment 584 chose the family of war invalid Pham Van Chi as the destination for a special gratitude meal. In a lively and emotional atmosphere, the dynamic young soldiers of Company 5, Battalion 303 directly participated in preparing ingredients, cooking, cleaning up and enjoying a cozy meal with the family. Coming to Uncle Chi's house, the officers and soldiers felt like they were returning to their own families. The image of young soldiers rolling up their sleeves in the kitchen, washing dishes or sitting and chatting with family members made the relationship between the army and the people even closer. Welcoming young visitors, wounded soldier Pham Van Chi emotionally recounted the years of fighting and the silent sacrifices of his comrades to help the country gain independence and freedom today.

In this series of grassroots activities, hundreds of officers and soldiers of Regiment 584 were also present in the villages to participate in many tasks to help the people, leaving their mark in the hearts of the ethnic people. For example, in Ea Kiet commune, in addition to the common tasks of the march, they also participated in planting nearly 200 new shade trees along the road, around the commune hall; cleaning, clearing, and planting flowers in the grounds of the commune People's Committee and the commune health center. In Hoa Phu commune, the soldiers enthusiastically participated in arranging, planting flags, and decorating the Military Party Congress and the Commune Party Congress. Returning to Tan Lap commune, they coordinated to organize the arrangement of tables and chairs, clean the new offices and support the decoration of the congress...

Working with the unit to do mass mobilization work, Mr. Ngan Duy Khanh, Secretary of the Youth Union of Ea Kiet commune, felt: "The soldiers not only helped the people with specific tasks but also brought sincere and close feelings. The spirit and responsibility in handling the tasks of the soldiers have become a source of motivation and strong inspiration for the local union members and youth, so that we continue to make efforts to contribute to building our homeland more and more prosperous."

Lieutenant Colonel Ngo Dinh Cuong, Deputy Political Commissar of the Defense Command of Region 3-Ea Sup said: “Through mass mobilization activities, we want to affirm that the Army comes from the people, serves and fights for the people. This is a bridge between the Party, the State, the Army and the people, contributing to fostering the great national unity bloc; at the same time, it is an opportunity for the Army to help people in difficult circumstances to rise up in life, creating a stronger solidarity between the army and the people.”
