Kiev destroyed three valuable Russian radar stations in Crimea on November 29, Ukraine's military intelligence agency (HUR) reported on November 30. The radars included two Podlet 48Y6-K1 systems and a Kasta-2E2 radar.

Both Kasta and Podlet are modern mobile radar systems designed to detect aerial targets at low and extremely low altitudes. They are considered important assets to protect the Crimean peninsula from air threats from opponents.

The information comes just a day after HUR claimed to have attacked another Podlet radar system in Crimea on November 28.

HUR said it was behind the two attacks but did not provide details. Russia has not commented on this information.

Several explosions have occurred across Crimea over the past week, and Russia claims to have shot down Ukrainian missiles and drones.

Ukraine has repeatedly targeted Russian military and industrial targets in Sevastopol and elsewhere on the peninsula.

Russia annexed the Crimean peninsula in 2014. Ukraine has repeatedly said it will take the region back from Russia. However, this month, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky admitted that it would be difficult to take Crimea back by force and that diplomacy might be necessary.
