Cho Don Youth learn and follow Uncle Ho

BBK - In recent years, Cho Don District Youth Union has promoted the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style with many diverse and practical methods, creating positive changes among union members and youth.

Mr. Ma Ngoc Dinh, Secretary of the Youth Union of Yen Thuong commune, carried out the traffic safety sign project on the inter-commune road.

Implementing Directive 05-CT/TW of the Politburo “On promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality and lifestyle”, Cho Don District Youth Union has deployed and effectively implemented many practical and meaningful youth projects and tasks. Thereby, creating positive changes in the awareness and actions of each union member and youth, affirming the pioneering role of youth in local socio-economic development.

Over the years, Mr. Ma Ngoc Dinh, Secretary of the Youth Union of Yen Thuong commune, has been known as a typical example in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style. Mr. Dinh shared: "Studying and following Uncle Ho, the Youth Union in the commune has actively participated in building new rural areas. The commune's Youth Union mobilized Youth Union members to carry out projects such as: Green, clean, civilized and safe roads; making concrete roads; implementing traffic safety signs on inter-commune roads... The movements have attracted a large number of Youth Union members to participate, and have been recognized by the Party Committee, government and people.

With the results achieved, Mr. Ma Ngoc Dinh has been commended by all levels of the industry. Recently, he was honored by Cho Don District Youth Union as "Advanced Youth Following Uncle Ho's Teachings" for the period 2022 - 2025 on the occasion of the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2025).

Thereby, helping the Youth Union members realize that learning and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style is an important task, considering this as the "compass" for all activities.

Many projects implemented by Cho Don District Youth Union contribute to building new rural areas in the locality.

Following Uncle Ho's teaching "Where there is a need, there is youth, where there is difficulty, there is youth", Cho Don youth have launched many exciting and practical emulation movements and achieved many outstanding results such as: Connecting to build 43 people's bridges, 04 charity houses, 08 classrooms; pouring concrete in 10 schoolyards, 06 village meeting house yards, building 20km of new rural roads,... The activities have attracted over 10,000 union members, youth and people to participate.

Faced with the damage caused by storm No. 3 ( Yagi ), Cho Don District Youth Union promptly directed the establishment of a youth shock force and deployed campaigns to support people in overcoming the consequences of natural disasters in Nam Cuong commune; mobilized more than 600 working days of youth union members to participate in building a resettlement area in Xuan Lac commune.

Youth Union supports the construction of resettlement areas for people in Xuan Lac commune.

The Cho Don District Youth Union has always associated studying and following Uncle Ho's example with promptly discovering and praising exemplary young people. During the 2017-2019 and 2022-2025 periods, the District Youth Union has commended 50 typical collectives and individuals in various fields... These are the "flames" that contribute to lighting up the movement of studying and following Uncle Ho's example in each locality and unit in the district.

With outstanding results achieved after 10 years of implementing Directive No. 05-CT/TW of the 12th Politburo "On promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle", Cho Don District Youth Union was honored to receive a Certificate of Merit from the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and the Chairman of the Bac Kan Provincial People's Committee; it is one of 03 collectives with outstanding achievements in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle commended by the Provincial Party Committee.
