During the meeting, families were treated to a special performance by officers and soldiers of the Regiment, imbued with military colors. Next, families watched a short documentary introducing the training, practice, activities and exciting emulation movements of officers and soldiers in the unit. The close, authentic images helped parents feel secure and confident in the training and growing environment of their children.

At the meeting, Lieutenant Colonel Le Cong Danh, Commander of Regiment 5, and the soldiers' relatives had an open exchange, listening and answering their concerns and worries about the life, health, training process and adaptation of the young soldiers. Many parents could not hide their emotions and pride when seeing their children grow up and become more mature after a period of living in the military environment.

At the end of the meeting, the Regiment presented the soldiers’ families with special gifts, including bundles of fresh vegetables and fruits, which were taken care of and harvested by the soldiers themselves from the unit’s production garden. The gift was simple but contained a lot of sentiment, and was a bridge connecting the relationship between the army and the people, and the relationship between soldiers and their families.

The meeting is not only an opportunity to strengthen the close relationship between the unit and the rear, but also contributes to consolidating people's belief in the maturity and steadfastness of today's generation of soldiers.
