At the exhibition, delegates reviewed the tradition and development process of revolutionary journalism; affirmed that journalists always maintain revolutionary ethics and strong political will.
Mr. Truong Van Chuyen, Editor-in-Chief of Can Tho Newspaper, Chairman of Can Tho City Journalists Association, said: "The thematic exhibition "The article is a revolutionary proclamation" aims to review the glorious tradition, important and great contributions, and noble mission of the Vietnamese revolutionary press in the struggle for national independence, national reunification, building and defending the Fatherland; to encourage, motivate, honor and show gratitude to generations of journalists and press agencies with outstanding achievements; to foster andeducate pride and love for the profession for journalists today".

According to the Chairman of the Can Tho City Journalists Association, in the context of the fourth industrial revolution, science and technology - especially information technology - are developing rapidly, Vietnamese revolutionary press in general, and Can Tho City press in particular, must constantly innovate, make changes to adapt to the times, and strive to build a professional, humane, and modern press and media.
Especially, in the new era - the era of national rise - everything must integrate deeply and comprehensively, digital transformation, the press must affirm its role in leading public opinion, creating social consensus, and fostering the nation's strong aspiration to rise.
"In other words, the press today must propagate and strive to enter the new era of the nation," said the Chairman of the Can Tho City Journalists Association.
