
Accordingly, the demonstration model of growing medicinal plants Solanum procumbens was implemented on a scale of 3 hectares with the participation of 6 member households of Duc Thanh Dat Agricultural Service Cooperative (Ia Ptau village, Phu Thien commune).
In addition to technical support for pest control, the Provincial Agricultural Extension Center also provides materials, fertilizers, pesticides, and seedlings to members participating in the model with a total cost of nearly 1 billion VND.
It is known that Duc Thanh Dat Agricultural Service Cooperative is implementing a model of growing medicinal Sophora japonica flowers on an area of 10 hectares. The Cooperative's Sophora japonica tea product has achieved 3-star OCOP certification at the district level in 2025.
Promoting the medicinal plant cultivation model has opened up a new direction in transforming the crop structure on difficult land; thereby increasing income for farmers as well as promoting local socio -economic development.
