Tri Ton strengthens public land management

On August 7, Party Secretary and Chairman of the People's Council of Tri Ton commune (An Giang province) Lam Thanh Si inspected, surveyed the situation and directed to strengthen the management of public lands in the locality.

The delegation inspected public lands in Hamlet 1 and Hamlet 2; listened to reports on the current status, area, origin, management and use of public lands, comrade Lam Thanh Si directed the commune's professional departments to urgently advise and coordinate with relevant units to review and re-count the entire area of public land; clarify the origin of use, current management status; re-determine the boundaries of public lands to prevent encroachment. At the same time, strengthen inspection, supervision, and strictly handle violations in the use and management of public lands.

Along with that, hamlets are required to promote propaganda of the Party and State's policies and laws on land management to help people clearly understand their responsibilities, obligations and rights in protecting public property.
