Urging progress of Tra Khuc river dam project

(QNgTV) - Contractors are speeding up the construction progress of the Tra Khuc River downstream dam project. It is expected that by September 30, 2025, the underwater items will be completed; by November 30, 2025, the entire project will be completed; and by December 31, 2025, the project will be inspected and handed over.

Tra Khuc River downstream dam project

The Tra Khuc River downstream dam project is invested in construction with the main scale including river dam (19 compartments), spillway (4 compartments), bridge and traffic road 1,396m long, operating house, electricity works. The total investment is nearly 1,500 billion VND from the provincial budget.

Construction started in 2019 and was completed in 2025. To date, the value of the construction volume has reached about 1,150 billion VND, equivalent to 90% of the contract value.

The investor representative - Quang Ngai Province Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board said that in August 2025, the last valve gate will be installed, ensuring that 19/19 valve gates will be completed before September 30, 2025.
