On the evening of January 15, the family of the late musician - Meritorious Artist Bac Son coordinated with Lac Long Quan Theater Club to organize a Scholarship Award program named after him at Trinh Kim Chi Theater (1st floor, 5B Vo Van Tan Street, District 3, Ho Chi Minh City).
For 6 years, the scholarship organization named after musician Bac Son and singer Bich Thuy's family has spread and created more motivation for many children of artists and stage workers to continue to strive to study.
70 scholarships and gifts worth more than 50 million VND were awarded to children of artists in difficult circumstances and stage workers in need of help.
Artist Cao My Chau said that every year her children receive scholarships and gifts, although they are only small spring gifts, they are warm and contain a lot of affection from the family of the late musician Bac Son - a musician who is attached to the folk music genre that she herself also loves to sing.

According to singer Bich Thuy - the ninth daughter of musician Bac Son, the art community in Ho Chi Minh City has 3 scholarship funds, including: People's Artist Bay Nam Scholarship, People's Artist Vien Chau Scholarship and Meritorious Artist Bac Son Scholarship. She tries to maintain this scholarship fund so that every year she can meet studious children of artists and stage workers.
This year, the Ho Chi Minh City Drama Theater sent a list of 5 excellent students who are children of stage workers to receive Tet gifts. Mr. Ha Van Cuong - Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Drama Theater said that this is a meaningful activity, contributing to caring for and encouraging the children of artists and stage workers to continue going to school and achieve many achievements in their studies.

His wish was so beautiful that his children followed his path, sharing love with the young generation, especially the children of artists and stage workers who face many hardships in life.
The scholarship award program also featured performances by artists: Bich Phuong, Khanh Tuan, Vinh Sang, Hoang Trung Anh, La Tran Duc Thien, Chau Nhat Tin, Huy Truong, Di Oanh, Yen Phuong, Thu Thao... and actors from Lac Long Quan Theater Club.
The artists performed many songs by musician Bac Son, including songs he wrote about spring.
