On July 23, 2025, in Hanoi, MM Mega Market Vietnam coordinated with the Agricultural Affairs Office of the US Embassy in Hanoi to launch the campaign "From America's Prosperous Farms" to promote US food and beverage products in Vietnam.
US Ambassador to Vietnam Marc Knapper and representatives of the US Department of Agriculture and MM Mega Market Vietnam attended the program. The opening ceremony was held at MM Mega Market Thang Long supermarket ( Hanoi ), and the campaign will be deployed simultaneously at MM Mega Market systems nationwide.
Specifically, from July 23 to August 6, 2025, Vietnamese consumers will have the opportunity to experience a shopping journey combined with discovering unique American cuisine , through attractive promotions, product sampling activities and authentic American cooking demonstrations.
The campaign features more than 80 featured products from America's rich farm traditions, including: cherries, apples, grapes, blueberries, peaches, nectarines, potatoes, raisins, prunes, dates, pork, beef, cheese, chicken, tofu, wine, canned meats, cookies, beans and lentils, sauces, nutritional drinks, beer, canned corn, almonds, walnuts, pistachios, jams and many other special items.
Speaking at the event, Mr. Marc Knapper, US Ambassador to Vietnam shared: "This year marks the 30th anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam - US diplomatic relations, three decades of friendship and sustainable cooperation. Vietnam is currently one of the most important agricultural export markets of the United States. We are proud to bring high-quality, safe and nutritious products to Vietnamese consumers. With superior quality, stable supply and commitment to sustainable development, US food and beverage are actively contributing to the bilateral trade relationship between the two countries. Last year, the export turnover of US agricultural consumer products to Vietnam reached a record 1.1 billion USD".
"We are pleased that these high-quality products have a place in the Vietnamese market. We are also pleased that the agricultural cooperation between the United States and Vietnam plays an extremely important role in trade cooperation as well as in the bilateral cooperation in many fields in general between the two countries. In addition, US agricultural products have the advantage of sustainable practices, which is a great combination of taste, quality, sustainability and this is a standard that consumers appreciate," the US Ambassador emphasized.
