Binh Tien Bridge and Road Project is about 3.66km long, 30-40m wide cross-section, 4-6 lanes; starting point at Pham Van Chi Street, ending point at Nguyen Van Linh intersection. Total investment is 6,285 billion VND from the budget, implementation time until 2028.
The project is expected to form a new radial traffic axis, connecting the center of Ho Chi Minh City with the South Saigon urban area, Hiep Phuoc port and belt routes 2, 3, 4.
The city will organize a public competition, with no limit on the number of participating units. After the capacity and design assessment round, the Council will score, rank, submit to the HCMC People's Committee for approval of the optimal plan, announce the results and award prizes.

Binh Tien Bridge and Road is the opening project for the high-speed main road system that Ho Chi Minh City is researching and implementing - a modern urban road with few intersections, which can be built above ground, underground or combined.
According to the plan, the city will develop about 10 routes such as: North - South route 1, 43.4km long (to relieve congestion at Tan Son Nhat airport), upgrading National Highway 13 into a high-speed axis, connecting Nguyen Huu Tho - Long Thanh airport, Northeast arc route (6.1km), North - South 2 (30.4km), East - West 1 (14.8km)...
When completed, this system will create a breakthrough for Ho Chi Minh City's traffic, expanding regional connectivity and new economic centers.
