In the 2024 - 2029 term, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Phan Rang Ward has continuously innovated its content and methods of operation, promoting its core role in the great national unity bloc. Coordination with the government and socio -political organizations has been promoted, contributing to the effective implementation of political tasks, strengthening social consensus, caring for people's lives and maintaining stability in the locality.
Spreading human values
Right from the beginning of the term, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Phan Rang Ward has determined the motto of action "Taking the people as the center, emulation movement as the driving force, social consensus as the foundation". On that basis, the Ward Front has promoted its core role, proactively coordinated closely with the Party Committee, the government and socio-political organizations in implementing patriotic emulation movements and campaigns, typically the movement "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas". Accordingly, many good practices and effective models have been deployed such as: "Bright - green - clean - beautiful roads", "Model flag roads", "Mural paintings", "Flower roads" ..., contributing to improving the urban landscape, raising people's awareness in maintaining environmental hygiene, building a civilized and safe life. Mr. Le Van Hanh - Head of the Front Work Committee of Residential Group 27 said: "The people in the area are mainly Catholic (accounting for 92.9%), therefore, we have identified mobilizing Catholics to participate in the campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas, civilized urban areas" as a key task, contributing to promoting community strength. The Front Work Committee coordinated with residential groups, branches, organizations and Tan Tai Parish to mobilize parishioners to contribute funds and working days to install solar energy bulbs and security cameras, upgrade and repair degraded roads, install manholes, and concrete small alleys in residential groups... Currently, all alleys in the area are 100% concreted".

In addition, the Ward Front has also clearly demonstrated its role in connecting resources to care for people's lives, especially the vulnerable. Over the past year, the locality has mobilized over 570 million VND from the "For the Poor" Fund, giving hundreds of gifts to people on the occasion of holidays and Tet. The "Grains of Loving Rice" model continues to be maintained, providing periodic rice support to many disadvantaged households. In particular, the Program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses has been effectively implemented by the Ward Front with a total amount of more than 445 million VND, contributing to the province's goal of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses before May 31, 2025. Thanks to that, many poor and near-poor households have been supported to build new and repair houses to settle down, work and produce with peace of mind, and improve their lives.
Ms. Phan Thi My Kim - Residential Group 23, shared: “Previously, my family lived in a temporary, dilapidated house. Since the beginning of this year, with support from the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses and the ward's "For the Poor" Fund, my family has been able to build a new, solid house. Thank you to the Party, the government and the Fatherland Front for taking care of poor people like us.” Through the program, Ms. Kim's family was able to build a house with an area of nearly 70 square meters , with a total cost of 150 million VND; of which 60 million VND came from the Program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses, 20 million VND from the local "For the Poor" Fund, and the rest came from the family's counterpart fund.
Improving supervision and Party and government building work
Not only being active in advocacy work, the Ward Front also plays an important role in monitoring, social criticism and Party and government building. Over the past year, the Ward Front has chaired and coordinated 8 monitoring sessions, focusing on issues related to people's lives such as: Implementation of social security policies, payment of benefits to meritorious people, implementation of health insurance policies, military recruitment, construction order, land management, monitoring of cadres and party members at their residence... Through the monitoring sessions, many practical recommendations have been sent to the government and functional agencies to promptly adjust and overcome limitations, creating high consensus among the people.

Along with that, the People's Inspectorate and the Community Investment Supervision Board operated in a disciplined manner, publicly supervising the collection and disbursement of funds, the distribution of gifts, and construction investment projects in the area. During the year, the Community Investment Supervision Board monitored 6 large and small projects in residential areas, contributing to the transparency of grassroots investment. The mediation team in the neighborhoods was effective, receiving 21 cases of conflicts in the community, successfully mediating 13 cases, without any prolonged or pending mass complaints. The ward's Fatherland Front also closely coordinated with the police, militia, and neighborhood protection team to build self-management models for security and order, crime prevention, drugs, and domestic violence. At the same time, it actively promoted environmental protection, climate change response, and traffic order maintenance.

In particular, focus on strongly innovating the content and methods of operation of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations; promote digital transformation; enhance the role and responsibility of the Front Work Committee in residential groups. In addition, the work of building a contingent of Front officials is also of special interest, aiming at the image of dedicated, creative officials with a spirit of dedication, close to the community. people, understand people, do good mass mobilization work skillfully".
