Summary and award ceremony of the Reading Culture Ambassador Contest 2025

Leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism awarded a special prize to Dinh Thi Ngoc Doanh, class 8A2, Dan Chu Primary and Secondary School ( Hoa Binh City).

The contest aims to arouse the passion for reading among the young generation, contributing to spreading the reading culture in schools and communities, towards building a learning society. The contest was launched under the guidance of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and implemented throughout the province with the close coordination of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Department of Education and Training, andeducational departments and institutions in the province.

After more than 3 months of launching, the Organizing Committee received 10,210 entries from 73 schools in the province, including 10,161 articles and 49 videos . All levels of education actively responded, notably Luong Son High School with 1,364 entries, Cu Chinh Lan High School with 972 entries, and Cong Hoa High School with 769 entries. Although the number of participating schools decreased slightly due to the time of organization coinciding with the period of high concentration for administrative unit merger, the quality of the entries was highly appreciated, demonstrating serious investment in content, form and creativity.

At the closing ceremony, the Organizing Committee awarded a special prize to Dinh Thi Ngoc Doanh, class 8A2, Dan Chu Primary and Secondary School (Hoa Binh City). Five first prizes were awarded to the following students: Bach Thuy Linh (class 12A5) and Le Gia Linh (class 10A3), Cu Chinh Lan High School (Luong Son); Vu Thi Phuong Chinh (class 11A1) and Dinh Thi Minh Anh (class 11A7), Tan Lac High School (Tan Lac); Bui Thuy Duong (class 10A1), Cao Phong High School (Cao Phong). In addition, the Organizing Committee awarded four second prizes, four third prizes, five consolation prizes and nine thematic prizes for entries with excellent content on sharing feelings about the best book, the best short story to encourage reading, and the most impressive plan and initiative to develop a reading culture.

The Organizing Committee has selected the 6 best entries representing Hoa Binh province to participate in the national final round organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
