Overview of the Private Economy in 2025: Program Structure Details

(Dan Tri) - The Vietnam Private Economic Panorama Model 2025 is designed with a system of committees and working groups, operating continuously over the years to promote the development of the private economic sector.

On September 11, the Private Economic Development Research Board (Board IV) held a ceremony to announce the Vietnam Private Economic Panorama 2025 (ViPEL 2025) model and introduce the Executive Board and key personnel of the committees.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Truong Gia Binh, Head of Department IV, emphasized that the Vietnam Private Economic Panorama model aims at the goal of "Public - private national construction: Strong and prosperous". According to him, the difference of this model compared to many other programs lies in the scale of gathering the largest private enterprise force, with a systematic organization and strategic stature.

The model will operate continuously, lasting over the years, not for group interests but for the responsibility of designing and implementing comprehensive solutions for the development of the economy and of each industry and field.

In regular operations, the model organizes periodic meetings every quarter or every 6 months, by Working Group or Committee, to update the macro situation and fluctuations in the fields.

The focus of the activities is on continuous improvement of content, setting development goals and strategies, enhancing competitiveness, and providing specific solutions for implementation. The working groups also focus on identifying issues that need to be improved in terms of policy and law.

The working groups will also focus on promoting and engaging in public-private dialogue with ministries, sectors and localities. A number of thematic surveys and assessments will also be conducted to address development issues.

The structure of the working groups is tightly organized with leaders being prestigious private enterprises in the industry and representatives of relevant associations. The members of the groups are enterprises, experts in the industry and interested parties; at the same time, there is the participation of a team of advisors who are experienced experts in many fields.

An important milestone within the framework of the model is the Vietnam Private Economic Panorama 2025 program, scheduled to take place on October 10 in Hanoi . The event is expected to be attended by senior leaders of the Party, Government and a large number of domestic and foreign business communities.

As planned, the morning will feature intensive working activities of the Committees and Working Groups, in various forms such as strategy meetings, talk shows, public-private policy dialogue discussions, and networking sessions, trade and investment promotion.

In the afternoon of the same day, the session on the Panorama of Vietnam's Private Economy 2025 will take place. Here, the organizing committee will announce the Report on the Assessment of the Development Prospects of Vietnam's Private Enterprises 2025, and at the same time honor typical enterprises, recognizing their outstanding contributions to the economy.

The highlight of the Panorama session was two public-private dialogues. The first session focused on discussing new, breakthrough growth models based on science and technology, innovation and digital transformation, and proposed solutions to improve the business and legal environment to create a foundation for development.

In the second session, speakers will propose ways to give stronger opportunities to the private economic sector in national economic development.

In addition, the program also witnessed the announcement and signing of strategic cooperation agreements between private enterprises and domestic and international partners, opening up new cooperation and investment opportunities for businesses.
