Prepare the best content and conditions to organize the Closing Ceremony of the National Achievement Exhibition

The Steering Committee for the National Achievement Exhibition on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day requests the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to preside over and closely coordinate with relevant ministries and agencies to prepare the best content and conditions to organize the Closing Ceremony of the Exhibition according to the approved program and scenario, ensuring the scale of the event is solemn, effective, safe and economical.

The Government Office issued Document No. 479/TB-VPCP dated September 12, 2025 announcing the Conclusion of Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh at the sixth meeting of the Steering Committee for the National Achievements Exhibition on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day.

Accordingly, on September 11, 2025, at the Government Headquarters, Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh, Head of the Steering Committee for the National Achievements Exhibition on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day, chaired the sixth meeting of the Steering Committee on the work of summarizing, rewarding and closing the Exhibition.

Attending the meeting were members of the Steering Committee, representatives of leaders of ministries, branches and localities.

After listening to the report of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the opinions of the delegates attending the meeting, Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh concluded as follows:

Acknowledging and praising the efforts of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Government Office, members of the Steering Committee, ministries, branches, central agencies, and localities in the past time with a very high sense of responsibility and determination, great efforts, "working during the day is not enough, working at night", actively and effectively coordinating to focus on implementing and completing well the tasks and work of organizing the Exhibition.

The exhibition clearly demonstrates professionalism, both modern and traditional in form, with rich, lively and attractive content. In the past 2 weeks, since its opening, the exhibition has welcomed nearly 7 million visitors, which can be said to be the best result ever, thoroughly implementing the direction of the General Secretary and the Prime Minister, meeting the requirements of the people, receiving the attention, response, recognition and appreciation of the people and creating a very positive social effect. This is a great joy and encouragement for the Steering Committee, the Organizing Committee, ministries, branches, localities, agencies and units participating in the exhibition.

Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh chaired the sixth meeting of the Steering Committee on summarizing, rewarding and closing the Exhibition.

The time from now until the closing day of the Exhibition is very short, while the workload is still very large, requiring ministries, agencies, localities, enterprises, organizations and related units to have very high determination and make great efforts to perform well the assigned tasks; continue to seriously and effectively implement Official Dispatch No. 155/CD-TTg dated September 2, 2025 of the Prime Minister to ensure the best service to the needs of the People from now until the closing day of the Exhibition.

The Steering Committee requests ministries, branches, localities and enterprises to seriously, urgently and focus on implementing tasks and work to prepare for the Closing Ceremony of the Exhibition, ensuring progress, quality, efficiency and absolute safety; focusing on the following key contents:

Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism: Take the lead and closely coordinate with relevant ministries and agencies to prepare the content and best conditions to organize the Closing Ceremony of the Exhibition according to the approved program and script, ensuring the scale of the event is solemn, effective, safe and economical.

Preside over and coordinate with relevant ministries and agencies to carefully review the list of delegates, invite and arrange seats for leaders and former leaders of the Party and State, leaders of central departments, ministries, branches, organizations, and central-affiliated provinces and cities, members of the Steering Committee, Organizing Committee, delegates, international guests, representatives of state-owned enterprises, private enterprises, organizations, and individuals involved in the Closing Ceremony of the Exhibition.

Preside over and coordinate with relevant ministries and agencies to urgently develop a Summary Report of the Exhibition, comprehensively, objectively and deeply assessing outstanding results, shortcomings, limitations, causes and lessons learned.

Preside over and coordinate with relevant agencies and units to promptly and thoroughly prepare the content of the Prime Minister's speech at the Closing Ceremony; report to the Prime Minister on contents related to the Closing Ceremony of the Exhibition.

Preside over and coordinate with relevant ministries, agencies, localities and units to synthesize and send to the Ministry of Home Affairs a report and propose to the Prime Minister on rewards in the direction of increasing the number of rewards to a higher, more reasonable, harmonious and commensurate with the contributions of ministries, agencies, localities and enterprises, before 4:00 p.m. on September 13, 2025; The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, ministries, agencies and localities promptly reward participating units, organizations and individuals with positive and worthy contributions and other appropriate forms of rewards according to regulations.

Urgently complete and approve the results of the selection of "Typical exhibition spaces" to organize the award ceremony at the Closing Ceremony; Certificates from the Organizing Committee for units participating in the Exhibition and accompanying gifts.

Preside over and closely coordinate with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, relevant ministries, agencies and Vingroup to carefully prepare the content, program, detailed script, composition, and specific plans for reception, logistics, and welcoming delegates and guests; assign specific tasks to each agency, unit, and individual in the spirit of "6 clear: clear people, clear work, clear responsibility, clear authority, clear time, and clear results".

Notify the People and participating agencies and units about stopping the Exhibition at a reasonable time, ensuring security and safety, serving delegates attending the Closing Ceremony to have time to visit the Exhibition; the cleaning of the exhibition space will be carried out after the Closing Ceremony ends.

Prepare the best content and conditions to organize the Closing Ceremony of the National Achievement Exhibition

The Steering Committee requested Nhan Dan Newspaper to preside over and coordinate with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to hand over documents, materials, images, databases, etc. at the "95 years of the Party flag lighting the way" exhibition space to the Central Party Office after the closing of the Exhibition to serve the construction of the Communist Party of Vietnam Museum.

  Deputy Prime Minister: Prepare carefully, solemnly and safely for the Closing Ceremony of the National Achievement Exhibition

Ministries, agencies, localities and enterprises shall proactively collect documents, materials, images, databases, etc. displayed after the closing of the Exhibition for preservation and storage according to regulations.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs presides over inviting international guests, embassies and international organizations in Hanoi to attend the Closing Ceremony; confirms the attendance and compiles and sends the list of international delegates to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and sends it to the Ministry of Public Security to deploy security and safety plans according to regulations; arranges cabin interpreters and assigns officers and interpreters to welcome international guests and perform foreign reception work at the Closing Ceremony of the Exhibition.

Ministry of Public Security, Ministry of Health, Hanoi People's Committee: Ensure security, order, safety, and health plans for the Exhibition Closing Ceremony.

The Ministry of Home Affairs shall preside over and coordinate with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, relevant agencies and units, to ensure emulation and reward work in the spirit of proposing to increase the number of rewards to the highest possible level, in accordance with the scale, nature and success of this important event, to promptly organize rewards for groups and individuals at the Closing Ceremony of the Exhibition; at the same time, guide ministries, branches, localities, agencies, units and enterprises to continue to reward to encourage and motivate groups and individuals participating in the Exhibition.

Vietnam Television, Voice of Vietnam: Coordinate with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and relevant agencies to organize live radio and television broadcasting of the Exhibition's Closing Ceremony, ensuring quality and effectiveness.

Vingroup Corporation closely coordinates with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and relevant agencies to handle tasks in organizing the Closing Ceremony of the Exhibition; prepare and ensure conditions for facilities, reception, logistics to welcome delegates... according to the requirements and suggestions of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

The Closing Ceremony of the Exhibition is not only a ritual to conclude an event, but also an opportunity for us to summarize, learn from experience, and spread the message of the success of the Exhibition. Therefore, the preparation for the Closing Ceremony of the Exhibition needs to be carried out carefully, safely, solemnly, economically, and ensure national stature; with careful preparation, synchronization, and consensus of the Steering Committee, Organizing Committee, ministries, agencies, localities, and related units so that the Closing Ceremony of the Exhibition can be successfully organized, leaving a deep impression, contributing to the complete success of the Exhibition of National Achievements, contributing to strengthening the firm belief in bringing the country into a new era - an era of strong, prosperous, and happy development.
