National scientific conference "The Party's propaganda and mass mobilization work in the new era"

Comrades: Nguyen Trong Nghia, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission; Doan Minh Huan, Party Central Committee member, Permanent Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics; Senior Lieutenant General Tran Quoc To, Party Central Committee member, Deputy Secretary of the Central Public Security Party Committee, Deputy Minister of Public Security; Pham Tat Thang, Party Central Committee member, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission; Vu Trong Lam, Director-Editor-in-Chief of the Truth National Political Publishing House co-chaired the workshop.

Attending the workshop were leaders of central departments, ministries and branches; leaders and officials in charge of propaganda and mass mobilization work of provinces and centrally-run cities; leading experts and scientists in the field of propaganda and mass mobilization.

Comrade Le Quoc Minh, member of the Party Central Committee, Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Education Commission, President of the Vietnam Journalists Association spoke at the workshop.

Comrade Doan Minh Huan delivered the opening speech and presented the introduction, emphasizing the significance and importance of the national scientific conference on the Party's propaganda and mass mobilization work in the new era. The conference heard direct reports and many enthusiastic and responsible discussions from leaders, experts and scientists.

The presentations focused on clarifying theoretical issues on the Party's propaganda and mass mobilization work in the new era; analyzing and evaluating the current status of the Party's propaganda and mass mobilization work over nearly 40 years of implementing the renovation process, thereby proposing tasks and solutions for the Party's propaganda and mass mobilization work until 2030, with a vision to 2045.

In his concluding remarks at the workshop, Comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia requested that propaganda and mass mobilization work in the new era must become a particularly important pillar in Party building and the political system; playing a key role in consolidating social trust, arousing national aspirations, and orienting national development. To do that, it is necessary to identify a number of key tasks and solutions, including: Firmly and effectively developing the ideological foundation, enhancing the theoretical level of the Party. Modernizing propaganda and mass mobilization work, mastering the digital media space. Strengthening, tightening and deepening the close relationship between the Party and the people, firmly building the people's hearts.

Building a team of propaganda and mass mobilization cadres with courage, intelligence, prestige, and equal to the task. Innovating the coordination mechanism, promoting the combined strength of the entire political system; linking propaganda and mass mobilization work with the country's strategic tasks; improving research capacity, summarizing practices, and forecasting strategies...

According to comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia, with the spirit of urgent, serious, dedicated and responsible work, the National Scientific Conference “The Party’s Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Work in the New Era” was a great success, leaving many profound impressions in both theory and practice. At the same time, it opened up new directions and strategic solutions for the Party’s propaganda and mass mobilization work in the new era.
