On the afternoon of September 13, the National Assembly Party Committee and the National Assembly Standing Committee held a conference on “Digital Literacy - Digital National Assembly: Framework of Digital Knowledge and Skills for the Modern National Assembly”. The conference was connected online from the National Assembly House to 33 connecting points in provinces and cities.
Attending the conference were General Secretary To Lam, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man and many leaders of the Party and State.
At the Vinh Long province bridge, comrade Nguyen Minh Dung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council and comrade Thach Phuoc Binh - Provincial Party Committee member, Deputy Head of the full-time National Assembly Delegation of the XV term of Vinh Long province attended.

During the program, delegates listened to topics on: the implementation of Plan 39-KH/ĐUQH to carry out the movement " Digital popular education - Digital National Assembly"; building a framework of digital knowledge and skills for a modern National Assembly, lifelong learning; in-depth analysis of the framework of digital knowledge and skills; applying AI as an assistant for National Assembly deputies and civil servants; introducing and sharing typical lessons on the platform " Digital popular education - Digital National Assembly"; reporting on the results of the National Assembly's digital transformation work and coordination in implementing Plan 39-KH/ĐUQH.
Within the framework of the conference, the Organizing Committee launched the platform " Digital Education for the People - Digital National Assembly"; awarded the Medal " For the Cause of the Vietnamese National Assembly" and Certificates of Merit from the National Assembly Office to collectives and individuals with many contributions to digital transformation.
In his speech, General Secretary To Lam emphasized the need to soon issue a framework of digital knowledge, skills and electronic textbooks; build a comprehensive digital knowledge platform, creating conditions for National Assembly deputies, officials and civil servants to study anytime, anywhere. At the same time, it is necessary to connect national data to manage and recognize learning achievements, consider the completion of the " Digital Literacy" program as a criterion to assess the level of task completion, associated with emulation and reward work.
The goal is that by 2026, 100% of National Assembly delegates, officials and civil servants will be provided with basic digital knowledge and skills. The National Assembly Party Committee will coordinate with ministries, sectors and localities to promote propaganda and foster digital skills towards important milestones such as the 14th National Party Congress and the 80th anniversary of the Vietnamese National Assembly.
