HNP - On the morning of September 12, the Yen So Ward Veterans Association held the 8th Congress of Delegates, term 2025-2030.

Major General Nguyen Manh Su, Vice President of the Hanoi City Veterans Association, presented flowers to congratulate the Congress.

Attending the Congress were Major General Nguyen Manh Su, Vice Chairman of the Hanoi Veterans Association and 135 delegates.

Speaking at the opening of the Congress, Chairman of the Association of War Veterans of Yen So Ward Vu Duc Chieu said that the Congress has the theme: "Promoting the nature of "Uncle Ho's soldiers", the tradition of "Loyalty - Solidarity - Exemplary - Innovation"; building a strong and comprehensive Association organization, excellently completing tasks", contributing to building a civilized and modern Yen So ward, happy people".

During the past term, the Association at all levels has closely followed the political tasks of the ward, mobilized war veteran members to unite, promote the traditional qualities of "Uncle Ho's soldiers", built an Association that is clean and strong in politics, ideology, and organization, truly a core force in the work of building and protecting the Party, government, and people.

The Congress set out 7 targets to strive for in the 2025-2030 term, in which 100% of members have strong political will, in the face of all impacts and circumstances, actively participate in building and protecting the Party and the government, resolutely fight against wrong views; have an effective "Skilled Mass Mobilization" model; every year, at least one example of "Good people, good deeds" is honored by the city...

To achieve the above goals and targets, the Congress set out 4 tasks, focused solutions and 2 breakthroughs.

The Congress passed the Decision to appoint an Executive Committee of 12 comrades, Standing Committee, Chairman, Vice Chairman, Inspection Committee, Head of Inspection Committee of the Yen So Ward Veterans Association, term VIII, 2025-2030. Comrade Vu Duc Chieu continues to be Chairman of the Yen So Ward Veterans Association, term VIII, 2025-2030.
