The delegation witnessed the process of caring for, harvesting and processing tea; interacted with people and tea artisans; enjoyed specialty products and listened to an introduction to the history and culture of the tea region.

The writing contest “One Hundred Years of the Most Famous Tea” was launched in February 2025, aiming to honor the historical, cultural and economic values of Thai Nguyen tea trees. Entries are political articles, memoirs, reports, and essays (excluding poetry), which can be accompanied by illustrative photos or clips. The Organizing Committee of the Contest encourages multimedia works that are creative, inspirational, and socially influential. Up to this point, the Organizing Committee has received about 50 works from authors from many regions across the country. The summary and award ceremony is expected to be held in the fourth quarter of 2025.
