Al Hilal in personal talks with Nunez
According to Sky Sports, Al Hilal are negotiating with Darwin Nunez's agent to reach a personal agreement before approaching Liverpool. The Uruguayan striker himself is said to have no future at Anfield and is ready to move to play in the Saudi Pro League.
In January, Liverpool rejected an offer of €70 million (about $76.3 million) from Al Nassr. This is considered a reference price if Al Hilal wants to negotiate successfully.
AC Milan and Juventus are also interested in Nunez, but prefer a loan option with an option to buy rather than spending big this summer.
Ronaldo's team was repeatedly rejected by Antony
Spanish newspaper Sport reported that Al Nassr is the most active team in the race to sign Antony. However, the Brazilian star has repeatedly rejected attractive offers from the Saudi Arabian giant.
Antony insists he only wants to return to Real Betis – where he played successfully in the second leg of the 2024/25 season on loan from Man United. He is willing to wait until the last days of the transfer window to hope that the Andalusian team reaches an agreement with the Red Devils.
Son Heung-min's new destination revealed
Striker Son Heung-min is very close to joining Los Angeles FC for a transfer fee of around 15 million euros (equivalent to 16.4 million USD). According to expert Fabrizio Romano, personal terms have been completed and the Korean star will soon go to the US to sign the contract.
Son will not return to Tottenham to join the team, ending nearly a decade of playing in the Premier League with 173 goals in 454 matches.
Tottenham officially welcome Palhinha
Tottenham have announced the signing of Joao Palhinha on loan from Bayern Munich, with an option to buy for €30 million ($32.7 million) at the end of the season. Spurs will pay all of the Portugal international's wages and bonuses.
Palhinha was signed by Bayern from Fulham for a fee of 51 million euros ($55.6 million), plus 5 million in add-ons. However, due to injuries and fierce competition for places, he only played 17 Bundesliga games last season and did not score.
Arsenal target young French talent
According to The Guardian, Arsenal have approached Rennes to buy young defender Jeremy Jacquet. The Gunners are willing to spend 20 million euros (about 21.8 million USD) to own the 20-year-old player.
Jacquet started just 12 games for Rennes last season but is regarded as one of France's brightest defensive talents. He reached the European Under-19 final and was recalled to the first team after half a season with Clermont Foot in Ligue 2.
Arsenal's interest in Jacquet comes as Jakub Kiwior and Zinchenko both fail to meet professional requirements and could be sold before the summer transfer window closes.
Chelsea bought Hato
Chelsea have confirmed the signing of Ajax centre-back Jorrel Hato for a fee of around €43 million ($46.9 million). Hato, 19, has passed a medical and signed a seven-year contract with the Stamford Bridge club.
This is the 8th new player in the summer of 2025 for The Blues, bringing the team's total spending to 300 million euros (327 million USD).
Lookman expresses desire to leave Atalanta
Ademola Lookman has officially sent an open letter to Atalanta's board of directors, expressing his wish to leave the club after three seasons.
Atalanta had previously rejected an offer of 42 million euros ($45.8 million), plus 3 million in add-ons, from an unnamed club. The Serie A club demanded at least 50 million euros ($54.5 million) to sit down at the negotiating table.
If Lookman leaves, Atalanta could sign Federico Chiesa from Liverpool on loan, with a mandatory buyout clause of €12 million ($13.1 million). According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Liverpool would cover part of Chiesa's wages.
