Body of missing father found while swimming with his child in Ha Long

At 9:30 a.m. on July 28, rescuers found the body of Tran Duy H (born in 1988, residing in Ha Lam ward, Ha Long city), who went missing while taking his son to the beach at Cot 8 beach, Hon Gai.

Authorities moved the body to shore.

Mr. H's body was found drifting and stranded on an island near the shore, not far from the missing location.

The authorities coordinated closely and carried out the search for many hours with a high sense of responsibility, contributing to bringing the victim back to his family in infinite grief.

Earlier, on the afternoon of July 26, Mr. H took his 13-year-old son to the beach. In the evening, the child was found standing alone on the shore, and the father's whereabouts were unknown.

Authorities and rescue units were on duty all night to search for the victims.

Victim's family grieved when body was found

Ms. Thu Huong - the victim's sister said that Mr. H is a single father, raising his child alone. He is known to love his child unconditionally, never taking his eyes off his child for even a step.
