(Dan Tri) - The Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City announced the postponement of the announcement of the results of the entrance exam for grade 6 at Tran Dai Nghia Secondary and High School.

Speaking with Dan Tri reporter, Mr. Ho Tan Minh, Chief of Office of the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City, said that the announcement of the results of the 6th grade entrance exam at Tran Dai Nghia School will be delayed compared to the expected plan.

Specifically, instead of the announcement plan this morning, June 23, the results of the entrance exam for grade 6 at Tran Dai Nghia School will be officially announced at the earliest in the afternoon or evening of the same day.

It is known that the postponement of the announcement of the results of the entrance exam to grade 6 at Tran Dai Nghia School is due to the fact that the Examination Organizing Council needs to review the final grading results for a question in the math thinking section.

This is the second time the announcement of the results of the Tran Dai Nghia School 6th grade entrance exam has been postponed this year. Initially, the Department of Education and Training planned to announce the results on June 22, then moved it to the morning of June 23.

Tran Dai Nghia Secondary and High School is the school with the most competitive entrance exam for grade 6 in Ho Chi Minh City. This year, more than 4,800 excellent students took the exam to select 350 students, a competition ratio equivalent to 1/14.

Tran Dai Nghia Secondary - High School was separated from Tran Dai Nghia High School for the Gifted in 2024 according to Decision 1657 of 2024 of the Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee.

The separation from Tran Dai Nghia High School for the Gifted is in accordance with the provisions of the Lawon Education and the regulations of specialized schools, which do not allow non-specialized classes to exist in specialized schools.

The school is a public service unit under the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City.
