Senior Lieutenant General Hoang Xuan Chien offers incense and commemorates heroic martyrs at Po Hen National Historical Site

On the afternoon of July 26, on the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 / July 27, 2025), the Central Military Commission and Ministry of National Defense delegation led by Senior Lieutenant General Hoang Xuan Chien, member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Member of the Central Military Commission, Deputy Minister of National Defense, came to offer flowers and incense to commemorate the heroic martyrs at the Po Hen National Historical Site.

Joining the delegation were Lieutenant General Le Duc Thai, member of the Party Central Committee, Commander of the Border Guard; Major General Luong Van Kiem, Commander of Military Region 3; Comrade Pham Duc An, Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Ninh province; leaders and commanders of functional agencies of the Ministry of National Defense , Military Region 3, and the Border Guard Command.

In a respectful and solemn atmosphere, Senior Lieutenant General Hoang Xuan Chien and the delegation laid wreaths, offered incense, and observed a minute of silence to commemorate the heroic martyrs who fought bravely to protect the sacred national border sovereignty of the Fatherland.
