Dietary supplements dumped in vacant lots in Ho Chi Minh City: Shocking new information

Initially, the authorities recorded 5 dumps of medicines and functional foods for adults and children. On the packaging were medicines and functional foods such as Ginlobil, Vitamin AD, Nattobet, Homramin Ginseng... In addition to these 5 dumps, there was also 1 dump that was completely burned with an area of about 20m2.

The authorities are still counting and tallying the number of drugs and functional foods that were seized. The People's Committee of Phong Phu Commune has reported the incident to the People's Committee of Binh Chanh District and the Economic Police Department - Ho Chi Minh City Police.

Many functional foods with expiration dates until 2027 - 2028 were dumped, suspected to be counterfeit.

Previously, as VTC News online newspaper reported that many types of functional foods with an expiration date of 2027 - 2028 were dumped in an empty lot near the intersection of Nguyen Van Linh - Trinh Quang Nghi, Phong Phu commune, Binh Chanh district.

Locals said that many three-wheeled vehicles brought these supplements and dumped them late at night. This has been going on for many days. The three-wheeled vehicles often dump their goods very quickly and then escape, making it impossible for people to catch them red-handed.

Functional foods were dumped in piles on vacant land along Nguyen Van Linh Street.

Typically, Homramin Ginseng produced on January 15, 2025, with an expiration date of January 15, 2028, was dumped. Vitamin Pharvita Plus produced on June 10, 2024, with an expiration date of June 10, 2027; Ginlobin Citicolin Omega 3 produced on June 10, 2024, with an expiration date of June 10, 2027... were also dumped everywhere. In addition, many functional foods for children were also thrown away.

Many people are confused when products like Ginlobin Citicolin Omega 3 are still in their expiration date but are thrown away. This is a product that many families often use.
