High School Graduation Exam: To prevent heavy rain, candidates should prepare spare clothes

TPO - Hanoi City has prepared a contingency plan for heavy rain and flooding during the High School Graduation Exam. Parents and candidates should prepare to arrive at the exam site on time and avoid getting wet if it rains.

Mr. Tran The Cuong, Director of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training, said that before the High School Graduation Exam, the Hanoi City Examination Steering Committee mobilized forces to coordinate in organizing the exam, ensuring security and safety.

In addition to preparing facilities, there is also support from forces including: Health , electricity, police... The units have developed a plan to divert traffic, ensuring the exam site gate is clear so that parents can conveniently take their children to the exam site. In addition to the exam sites, the units have also arranged waiting areas for parents to rest while waiting for their children, avoiding gathering in front of the exam site gate causing traffic congestion.

In particular, through experience in organizing exams, the city always has a plan to deal with situations where heavy rain can cause flooding of roads. Units coordinate to ensure that candidates can reach the exam location most conveniently.

In addition, at the examination sites, youth volunteers are also on duty to support candidates with many activities such as: distributing raincoats, fans in hot weather, holding umbrellas for candidates when it rains; supporting candidates in unusual situations, providing free motorbike taxi services...

Tomorrow morning, candidates will begin the first exam, Literature, with a time limit of 120 minutes. According to the exam schedule, the exam papers will be distributed to candidates at 7:30 a.m. and candidates will begin taking the exam at 7:35 a.m.

Parents and candidates should note the time to arrive at the exam site. This afternoon, candidates should go to the exam site to know the route, travel time to the exam site, and grasp the exam room map to avoid getting lost or going to the wrong exam site.

In case of rain, candidates' clothes and exam papers get wet, which can affect their psychology and the quality of the exam, parents and candidates should prepare carefully from the night before.

Things to prepare include: necessary documents, items allowed to be brought into the exam room and put in a white bag.

On the morning of the exam, in case it rains, candidates can prepare raincoats, umbrellas, and even have an extra set of dry clothes in their backpack. In case it rains heavily on the way and candidates get wet, they can change when they arrive at the exam location to ensure their health for the exam.

During the 10th grade entrance exam a few years ago, on the morning of the exam, it rained heavily in Hanoi and many candidates arrived at the exam site with wet clothes. Parents did not prepare spare clothes, so a school quickly sent spare uniforms to the exam site so that candidates could change before entering the exam room.
