Candidates worry when schools announce "no need to confirm admission through the Ministry"

(Dan Tri) - Although the Ministry of Education and Training requires candidates to confirm their admission on the Ministry's information portal, many candidates who passed the first round of additional admission to Ho Chi Minh City Open University received the notice "no need".

According to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training , all admitted candidates, including direct admission candidates, are required to confirm their admission online on the Ministry's system.

If the admission confirmation is not made, the candidate will be considered to have given up his/her admission wishes and his/her admission results will be canceled.

The Ministry has just announced that the time to confirm admission has been extended to before 5:00 p.m. on September 2 instead of August 30 as originally planned.

However, in the announcement of the list of additional admissions for the first round sent from Ho Chi Minh City University of Education, Ho Chi Minh City Open University included the following content: "Candidates whose names are on the above list will complete admission procedures from 2:00 p.m. on August 26, without needing to confirm admission on the Ministry of Education and Training's information portal."

Many candidates are worried and confused when the Ministry requires that they must confirm their admission on the Ministry's system before their results can be recognized, but the school says "no need".

Candidate PTA, one of the candidates who passed the first round of additional admission in the above list from Ho Chi Minh City University of Education, said that the regulation requires confirmation on the Ministry's system, but Ho Chi Minh City Open University announced "no".

TA contacted the school to confirm and received the answer "no need to confirm on the Ministry's system", just follow the admission steps according to the school's instructions.

This candidate has successfully completed the admission steps but is still worried that if he does not register for admission on the Ministry's system, his results will be canceled.

On the afternoon of August 30, TA tried to confirm again on the Ministry's system and the results were still... failing all wishes.

Responding to the content that candidates "do not need to confirm admission on the portal of the Ministry of Education and Training", Ho Chi Minh City Open University said that not needing confirmation on the Ministry's system only applies to 18 candidates in the list of candidates admitted in the first round transferred from Ho Chi Minh City University of Education, while all other candidates are required to enroll on the Ministry's system.

These are candidates who encountered technical problems from Ho Chi Minh City University of Education, many cases still cannot confirm the results on the Ministry's system.

These candidates only need to complete 3 steps to enroll at the school including registering for admission online, paying tuition fees and submitting admission documents via express delivery.

It is known that up to this point, most universities have agreed to accept candidates who do not meet the standard score but are on the admission list to Ho Chi Minh City University of Education.

Ho Chi Minh City University of Education is also continuing to work with a number of other related universities to get support to resolve the remaining candidates.

In cases where candidates are eligible to be admitted to the school but are not on the admission list, the school has contacted them to complete the admission procedures according to regulations.
