Candidates in Hanoi have just completed the English exam for the 10th grade entrance exam. Many students rated the exam as "adequate". For many candidates who have studied English since childhood in good conditions in the inner city of Hanoi, getting a score of 8 or 9 is not too difficult.

The Hanoi 10th grade English entrance exam has a similar structure to the reference exam announced by the Department of Education and Training at the end of 2024, closely following the orientation of assessing language proficiency in a practical and flexible manner.

Ms. Nguyen Lan Huong, an English teacher at Hoai Duc B High School (Hanoi), also believes that with this test, students can easily get a score of 6.5 - 7, good students can get above 9, but to get a perfect score, both solid knowledge and caution are needed.
