At the conference, delegates listened to a report on the results of the Coast Guard's work in the first 6 months of the year. Accordingly, in the first 6 months of 2025, despite many difficulties, with the close leadership of the Party Committee and the head of the Vietnam Coast Guard, the Command of Coast Guard Region 1 has thoroughly grasped the tasks, deployed synchronously and comprehensively in all aspects of work, and completed the tasks well, notably: Combat readiness; firmly protecting sovereignty , security and safety in assigned sea areas; preventing and combating crimes and violations of the law at sea, actively participating in activities with localities.

Major General Le Dinh Cuong awarded certificates of merit to groups and individuals.

The Regional Command has mobilized and organized 110 ships and boats to carry out missions, safely traveling more than 15,000 nautical miles. Coordinated with joint forces to increase patrols and control, preventing foreign fishing vessels from encroaching on Vietnam's waters.

Speaking at the conference, Major General Le Dinh Cuong acknowledged and commended the achievements and results in the Coast Guard work in the first 6 months of 2025 of the Coast Guard Region 1 Command.

At the Conference, authorized by the National Steering Committee 389, Ministry of National Defense , Major General Le Dinh Cuong awarded 4 certificates of merit to the Regional Command and 2 individuals; the Head of the Regional Command awarded certificates of merit from the Ministry of National Defense, Vietnam Coast Guard to 5 groups and 11 individuals with outstanding achievements in performing their tasks.
