This cooperation project aims to reduce carbon emissions in the Bach Hoa Xanh chain of stores, helping both businesses gradually achieve their sustainable development goals. This is also a testament to the seriousness and strong commitment of leading retailer Mobile World in promoting green growth and contributing to Vietnam's Net-Zero goal (reducing greenhouse gas emissions to nearly zero) by 2050.

Accordingly, the parties will install a solar power system combined with the treatment and circulation of organic waste. Specifically, CAS Energy will collect organic waste at Bach Hoa Xanh stores and process it into organic nutrients for agriculture. The project will initially be implemented at 50 Bach Hoa Xanh stores in Thu Duc City, Ho Chi Minh City and is expected to be expanded across the chain with more than 1,700 stores in the future.

Mr. Nguyen Hong Quan, Director of the Institute for Research and Development of Circular Economy, said: “This cooperation project on implementing green economy - circular economy is an important step forward in promoting sustainable development and minimizing negative impacts on the environment of the two enterprises as well as in Vietnam. We hope that this project will contribute to raising awareness and action of the business community as well as people about the environment, renewable energy, effective waste management and increasing the efficiency of resource use”.
