Thang Binh District People's Committee currently has 11 specialized agencies and 4 public service units with 150 assigned civil servants. According to the project, after the arrangement and consolidation, Thang Binh District will have 9 specialized agencies under the District People's Committee, a reduction of 2 agencies.

Regarding mass organizations, in the immediate future, the 9 organizations assigned by the Party and the State will be maintained, and the organizations will be reviewed to arrange them appropriately in the coming time. The time to arrange and consolidate specialized agencies and public service units under the District People's Committee will be completed before February 20, 2025.

At the conference, the delegates said that the arrangement and consolidation of professional agencies, public service units under the People's Committee of Thang Binh district and the associations assigned tasks by the Party and State had been agreed upon from the Central to the local level, so it was convenient for implementation. The names of the departments after the merger were also consistent with the province's orientation. In addition, the delegates said that Thang Binh district had no ethnic minorities, so they proposed to remove the management of ethnic affairs from the functions and tasks of the district's Department of Internal Affairs...
