Many people hid tables, chairs, drinking water, and foam boxes in bushes, ravines, or roadside drainage ditches to continue operating when the force withdrew.

Recorded at Son Tra peninsula (Hoang Sa street from Ho Xanh - Intercontinental hotel), between 9-10 am and 3-6 pm, many street vendors gathered at locations such as: parking area on Hoang Sa street south of Linh Ung pagoda, parking area near the ranger station, coconut row area near the Intercontinental Danang resort.

Street vendors and mobile food trucks on the road to Son Tra peninsula affect traffic safety, environmental hygiene, aesthetics and urban order. Some street vendors carry tables and chairs to serve customers sitting and eating right on Son Tra peninsula.

Faced with the above situation, the Son Tra Ward Public Service Center has deployed patrols, controls and strictly handled violations.

Mr. Phan Phu Anh, Specialist of the Urban Order Team, Son Tra Ward Public Service Supply Center, said that the unit maintains regular and continuous deployment, especially focusing on peak hours in the morning and evening.

This is the time when street vending on tourist routes, especially Hoang Sa Street, is complicated.

Each deployment has police forces, militia and self-defense forces, and the Urban Order Team closely coordinating to inspect and promptly handle violations, ensuring the maintenance of urban order and safety for visitors.

However, reality shows that street vendors often take advantage of the complex terrain on Son Tra Peninsula to cope. When detecting the authorities, many people run away, leaving behind evidence.

Many people even hid tables, chairs, drinking water, and foam boxes in bushes, ravines, or roadside drainage ditches to continue operating when the force withdrew.

In cases of being caught red-handed, the team resolutely draws up a record on the spot, confiscates all evidence and handles it according to regulations, without leniency.

“The hot spots of urban order in the ward are mainly concentrated in markets and tourist spots. That creates a lot of pressure for the force when the area is large after the merger. However, the unit always maintains regular deployment, closely coordinates with inter-sectoral forces, both strictly handles and propagates so that people and tourists understand and join hands to build a civilized, clean and beautiful image of Son Tra,” Mr. Anh shared.

Many plans for deployment are built regularly, linking the responsibility of local authorities with implementation results.

Notably, the People's Committee of Hoa Cuong Ward has synchronously deployed many solutions, determined to restore urban order, ensure clear roads and sidewalks in the area, focusing on handling hot spots of urban order in the area surrounding Hoa Cuong Wholesale Market at the end of August.

Mr. Nguyen Hoang Than, Deputy Director of the Center for Public Service Supply of Hoa Cuong Ward, said that ensuring urban order is a regular and continuous task.

The Center has issued specific plans for each month and quarter, clearly assigning responsibilities to each force; regularly checking and evaluating results to gain experience and adjust working methods to be more effective.

In the past period, the locality has focused on handling and re-establishing urban order in the Hoa Cuong wholesale market area. Initial results show that many main roads have been cleared, returning sidewalks to pedestrians, limiting local congestion.

Through propaganda, mobilization and commitment signing, people's awareness of compliance has also been significantly improved.
