“The Exhibition of National Achievements on the occasion of the 80th Anniversary of National Day” is not simply an exhibition event, but an epic poem in images, artifacts and technology, deeply depicting the journey of building, defending the country and reaching out to the world .

At the same time, it contributes to building and consolidating the great national unity bloc, strengthening people's trust in the leadership of the Party and State, and trust in the bright future development of the country.

A historical milestone vividly recreated

With the theme “80 years of the Journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness”, the Exhibition will take place from August 28 to September 5, 2025 at the National Exhibition Center (Truong Sa Street, Dong Anh Commune, Hanoi City).

This is not only a national political and cultural event, but also a special milestone in the process of identifying and strengthening Vietnamese identity in the context of globalization and rapid transformation of the digital age.

The theme “80 years of the Journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness” was chosen to commemorate the day Uncle Ho read the Declaration of Independence, giving birth to the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, opening a new era for the nation - the era of independence, freedom and socialism.

At the same time, it conveys the message of a country that continues to steadfastly affirm its fundamental values: National independence, national unity and people's happiness. These are the three pillars that run through all policies, strategies and achievements that our country has been creating over the past 8 decades.

An unprecedented exhibition in scale - depth - technology

Never before in the history of Vietnam has an exhibition been organized with such a scale, depth and technological coverage as this time. Under the direction of the Government, directly by Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh, Head of the Steering Committee for the "National Achievements Exhibition on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day", and chaired by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the standing unit, the exhibition is the result of comprehensive coordination between ministries, branches, localities, businesses and people.

The exhibition space consists of three large sections: General exhibition area (Kim Quy Exhibition Hall); Outdoor exhibition area (yards: East, West, South, North); International exhibition area and 12 cultural industries (Block A Exhibition Hall).

The general exhibition area (Kim Quy Exhibition House) has the theme Vietnam - Journey to a new era .

The general exhibition area includes horizontal slices of history and vertical slices of core values, great achievements and immortal legends of the history of building and defending the country of Vietnam, led on an experiential journey containing profound messages.

The subdivision includes 6 exhibition spaces with the following themes: Vietnam - Country - People; 95 years of the Party flag guiding the way; Development creation; Rich province, strong country; Economic locomotive; Starting a business to build the nation .

Outdoor exhibition area with the theme of Integration and Development .

The subdivision includes: Exhibition space with the theme For a Green Future ; Exhibition space with the theme Aspiration for the Sky ; Exhibition space with the theme Sword and Shield ; Exhibition space with the theme National Festival ; Space for performing art programs.

The international exhibition area and 12 cultural industries (at Exhibition Hall Block A) have the theme of Integration and Creativity .

This exhibition area includes: Exhibition space with the theme of Creativity for construction and Exhibition space with the theme of Vietnam and the world .

The zones clearly demonstrate the strategy of developing green economy, aviation industry, national defense and security, creative experience space, digital transformation, AI, 3D mapping, connecting Vietnam with international friends.

What is special is that the display is not simply panels and artifacts, but a combination of multiple layers of elements: Light, sound, digital, high-tech projection, virtual reality, multimedia interaction... An exhibition that converges both the length of history and the depth of ideology, and the direction of national development.

Protection and construction: Two axes through history and present

This exhibition clearly depicts those two axes: From the Sword and Shield , the symbol of national defense strength, to Development Creation , Nation Building Startups , the aspiration for sustainable, green, digital and humane development.

With the spirit of “leaving no one behind”, social security policies, poverty reduction, public health, liberal and inclusive education are also demonstrated through the exhibition spaces, affirming the central role of people in all development directions.
