On March 18, Filum AI - a Vietnamese AI startup shared that it had successfully raised 1 million USD from prestigious investment funds in the region including Nextrans, VinVentures, TheVentures and strategic investors: Hung Tran (Founder of Got It, Founder of AIforVietnam.org, SteamForVietnam.org), Tran Anh Dung (Founder of MOG) and a number of other individual investors.
Founded in 2020 by experts from Silicon Valley and Vietnam, Filum AI aims to help businesses grow sustainably through comprehensive CX management solutions using AI technology. Headed by CEO Tran Van Vien - co-founder of Base.vn, with over 10 years of experience in the field of digital transformation.
Despite the "winter" of fundraising, the fact that a Vietnamese AI startup has successfully raised capital clearly demonstrates the confidence and high expectations from investors. "This is one of the rare startups with strong technological capabilities, strategic vision and the ability to create practical value for businesses," said a representative of the VinVentures technology investment fund. This is also one of VinVentures' first investments after its launch in October 2024.
The new funding will help the startup expand its R&D team, accelerate product development, enhance customer support and enter the Southeast Asian market.
Mr. Tran Van Vien - CEO of Filum AI believes that the capital of 1 million USD will be a strong motivation to help the company further accelerate the development of advanced AI products, especially AI Agent, to help businesses optimize costs, improve customer experience quality and operate effectively.
