On the morning of January 14, the People's Committee of Hai Duong province will announce a detailed GRDP growth scenario for 2025 along with many other important socio-economic development contents (illustrative photo).

At 8:00 a.m. on January 14, at the Eastern Cultural Center (Hai Duong City), the People's Committee of Hai Duong province held a conference to summarize the work in 2024 and deploy tasks in 2025.

According to the conference agenda, the Provincial People's Committee will announce 4 contents, including: report on the assessment of the results of implementing tasks in 2024, directions, tasks, key solutions, and breakthroughs in implementing the socio-economic plan in 2025; draft action plan of the Provincial People's Committee to implement the Government's Resolution on key tasks and solutions to implement the socio -economic development plan and state budget estimate in 2025; detailed economic growth scenario plan (GRDP) in 2025; scenario plan on progress and disbursement of public investment capital in 2025.

In previous years, Hai Duong has built scenarios for socio-economic development. But this is the first time Hai Duong has a detailed, in-depth scenario, setting out goals, tasks, and solutions for economic promotion in each quarter of the year; assigning each task, each project, and specific implementation progress to each department, branch, and locality... Thereby demonstrating the determination and urgency of the head of the provincial government in directing economic development in the whole province.

In 2025, the Provincial People's Committee is determined to successfully achieve the target of double-digit growth in gross regional domestic product (GRDP), striving for GRDP to reach VND 132,632 billion, an increase of 12% compared to 2024 (higher than the target set by the Provincial Party Committee and Provincial People's Council of over 10% growth).

With innovation in scenario building, Hai Duong is determined to create a strong breakthrough in management and operation.
