Specifically, the reigning women's football champion Vietnam will be in Group C with Urawa Red Diamonds Ladies (Japan) and Taichung Blue Whale Women's Football (Taiwan).
Urawa Red Diamond Ladies were the champions of the Japan Women's National Championship (WE League) last season, their second title in three seasons.
The Taichung Blue Whale Women's Football team, founded in 2014, has won the Taiwan Women's Football Championship five times and the National Cup in 2021. The remaining opponents in Group C will be determined after the 2024-2025 AFC Champions League Women's Qualifiers, with 13 teams participating.
