
On August 8, in Hanoi, the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports held a website launching ceremony to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025). Introducing the website celebrating the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025), Deputy Director of the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports Nguyen Thi Mai Huong said that after a period of serious preparation, with great efforts in every detail of content and technical infrastructure, under the direction of the Central Propaganda Department; Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism ; Propaganda Department of the Hanoi Party Committee and People's Committee; Department of Culture and Sports organized the launch of the Information Portal to propagate activities celebrating the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2, on a digital platform called A80.hanoi.gov.vn and the application "80 - Proud of Vietnam".

According to the Deputy Director of the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports, “A80 - Proud of Vietnam” is not only a digital platform serving important national events but also a digital cultural product representing the stature, mindset and mettle of the Capital in the new era.
This is not a simple electronic portal, but an “intelligent assistant”, a “companion” for people and tourists on their journey to learn, experience and live every moment of the commemorative activities in the capital.
