According to the Tax Department, currently, 100% of businesses and organizations using invoices have notified the issuance of electronic invoices and used electronic invoices. All business households and individuals paying taxes by declaration method have used electronic invoices.

The tax sector has also promoted digital transformation by continuing to deploy electronic invoices for businesses with business lines that are subject to deploying electronic invoices generated from cash registers. In just the first 11 months of 2024, Quang Nam had 514 businesses registering to use electronic invoices from cash registers, reaching 100% of the plan set for the whole year of 2024.

A notable success is the successful implementation of electronic invoices for retail gasoline business. Statistics up to December 24, 2024, there were 102 stores (accounting for 55%) implementing the electronic invoice solution each time through automatic connection, 82 stores (accounting for 44%) implementing this solution via POS machines, tablets and 3 stores (1%) issuing invoices manually.

Mr. Nguyen Van Tiep - Director of the Tax Department said that the tax sector will focus resources, coordinate with agencies and departments, and resolutely implement the plan to inspect and supervise the issuance of electronic invoices each time at all local retail gasoline stations. In the first quarter of 2025, 100% of gasoline retail establishments in Quang Nam will complete the application of automatic connection solutions.
