Specifically, on the Tu Mo Rong - Ngoc Yeu route (from Km 00 to Km 12, in Mang Ri commune), many landslides and blocked drainage ditches appeared. Some locations had negative slope landslides, road subsidence, only enough for one lane of traffic, at risk of being cut off if the rain and floods continue in the coming time.
At Provincial Road 672 (Km 44+600 to Km 55+200, section through Mang Ri commune), the roadbed and surface are degraded and subsided; landslides and rocks buried the roadway.

National Highway 40B connecting Tu Mo Rong commune through Mang Ri commune (also in Quang Ngai) and Da Nang city is also damaged. Specifically, at Km 168 + 200 (Tu Mo Rong commune area, bordering Mang Ri commune), there are 3 points where the roadbed has sunk and broken. If the heavy rain continues, there is a risk of breaking and cutting off traffic.

According to Mr. Quang, the above routes play an important role in economic development, freight transport and travel.

“The commune has directed the installation of landslide warning signs for people to avoid. The commune is also reporting to the Department of Construction and the Provincial People's Committee about the damage to roads caused by storms and rain, thereby proposing early repairs to ensure safety,” said Mr. Quang.
