Military Region 5 hands over gratitude house to veteran in Tien Phuoc commune

DNO - On the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025), on the morning of July 24, the Military Region 5 Command organized the inauguration and handover of a gratitude house to Mr. Huynh Tan Hung's family (Phu Xuan village, Tien Phuoc commune, Da Nang city).

Major General Vo Van Hung, Chief of Political Affairs of Military Region 5; Colonel Nguyen Tan Tuan, Deputy Political Commissar of Da Nang City Military Command; leaders of the Defense Command of Region 3 - Tra My, and representatives of local authorities attended and shared joy with the family.

After nearly 2 months of construction, the level 4 house, with a corrugated iron roof and tiled floor, with an area of 60 square ^meters, was completed, with a construction cost of 100 million VND. Of which, Military Region 5 supported 80 million VND; the rest was contributed by family and relatives.

Mr. Huynh Tan Hung used to be a soldier, fighting in the Cambodian battlefield. For many years, his family's house has been seriously degraded, and there is no money to repair or rebuild it.

At the house handover ceremony, Major General Vo Van Hung and leaders of the Da Nang City Military Command and the Defense Command of Region 3 - Tra My presented many gifts of encouragement and shared joy with Mr. Huynh Tan Hung's family.
