A representative of Thu Duc Ward Police said that at around 11:49 a.m. on July 23, the Ward Police received a report of a fire at the above address. Upon receiving the report, the Ward Police immediately deployed forces to the scene, promptly implemented professional measures to quickly control the fire, prevent it from spreading, ensure the safety of people's lives and health, and minimize property damage.
By about 12:20 p.m. the same day, the fire was completely extinguished. The fire occurred at a kiosk without a house number (about 10 square meters wide), causing about 3 million VND in damage and no human casualties.
The initial cause of the fire was determined to be the homeowner’s negligence in using the power line. Thu Duc Ward Police are currently coordinating with PC01 and PC09 of Ho Chi Minh City Police to further investigate the cause of the fire.

According to a representative of Thu Duc Ward Police, as soon as the fire broke out, local residents quickly reported it to the ward police force, and quickly approached the scene, assisted in evacuating property, and used mini fire extinguishers and available means to control the fire.
In particular, during the process of the authorities being present to carry out fire fighting, many people actively coordinated to maintain order, guided vehicles to stay away from the fire area, supported water supply, provided necessary information and participated with the authorities.

With those contributions, the People's Committee of Thu Duc Ward has unexpectedly rewarded 2 groups and 2 individuals, including the Fire Fighting and Rescue Team of Area 2 (Department PC07, Ho Chi Minh City Police), the Fire Prevention and Fighting Team of Thu Duc Market; Mr. Dinh Thanh Sang, a trader at Thu Duc Market, Mr. Huynh Van Nam, Security Guard of Children's Clinic 315 (near the fire scene).
