Phu Dong Ninh Binh sets record after clash with Dong Thap

Two red cards ended Phu Dong Ninh Binh's 2-1 victory at Dong Thap's Cao Lanh Stadium, helping the champions set a new record in the 2024-2025 first division.

On the evening of June 21, the 2024-2025 national first division tournament ended simultaneously at 5 stadiums with round 20. In Cao Lanh, defending champion Phu Dong Ninh Binh had a naval battle with Dong Thap .

As a result, Phu Dong Ninh Binh won 19/20 matches after 22 rounds. They set a classic record in the 2024-2025 national first division with a near-perfect score of 58/60.

The only draw between coach Nguyen Viet Thang and his team was 1-1 on the field of Hoa Binh Club on April 27.

Phu Dong Ninh Binh Club won direct promotion to V-League 1.
