Deputy Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission becomes acting Secretary of Lam Dong Province

On March 17, Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee held a conference to implement the Politburo 's decision. Attending the conference were Ms. Truong Thi Mai, Politburo member, permanent member of the Secretariat, Head of the Central Organization Committee; Mr. Phan Dinh Trac, Politburo member, Head of the Central Internal Affairs Committee.

Mr. Nguyen Thai Hoc, Deputy Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission, was presented with the Politburo's decision to hold the position of Acting Secretary of the Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term by Ms. Truong Thi Mai, Politburo member, Permanent Secretary of the Secretariat, Head of the Central Organization Commission.

At the conference, Mr. Nguyen Thai Hoc, Deputy Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission, was presented with the Politburo's decision to hold the position of Acting Secretary of Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term by Ms. Truong Thi Mai, Politburo member, Permanent Secretary of the Secretariat, Head of the Central Organization Commission.

On behalf of the Politburo, Ms. Truong Thi Mai congratulated Mr. Nguyen Thai Hoc on taking on the new responsibility of the Party and believed that Mr. Hoc would soon grasp the local situation, together with the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee, and the Standing Committee of Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee to overcome difficulties, unite and strive, strengthen leadership and direction, achieve the highest results, and ensure national defense and security.

Achieving the goal of becoming a fairly developed province in the country by 2025, a fairly comprehensively developed province in the country by 2030, and by 2045, Lam Dong will become a centrally-run city.

Speaking on accepting the assignment, Mr. Nguyen Thai Hoc said: "I vow to devote all my efforts and work together, considering Lam Dong as my second homeland."

Mr. Hoc promised to strive to work, train, and maintain himself well, to unite and bond with his comrades in a sincere manner, and to live and work to the fullest.

Mr. Nguyen Thai Hoc (born in 1972, in Hoa Quang Bac commune, Phu Hoa district, Phu Yen province) has a PhD in Political Science and a Bachelor of Law.

Currently, Mr. Nguyen Thai Hoc is Deputy Head of the Central Internal Affairs Committee; Member of the National Assembly's Judicial Committee; Delegate of the 13th and 14th National Assembly.

In 2002, Mr. Nguyen Thai Hoc was the Secretary of Phu Yen Provincial Youth Union. In July 2006, the Standing Committee of Phu Yen Provincial Party Committee transferred and appointed Mr. Hoc to the position of Secretary of Song Hinh District Party Committee (Phu Yen Province).

In June 2011, Mr. Hoc held the position of Deputy Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Phu Yen Province. Two years later, he was transferred and appointed by the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee to hold the position of Head of the Internal Affairs Committee of the Phu Yen Provincial Party Committee.

On June 15, 2018, the Secretariat transferred Mr. Nguyen Thai Hoc to work at the Central Internal Affairs Commission and hold the position of Deputy Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission.
