Triumphant Autumn is constructed with a solemn yet emotional spirit, so that the audience, especially the younger generation, has the opportunity to look back on the 30-year journey from 1945 to the reunification day in 1975. Through that, the work arouses pride, gratitude and a sense of responsibility to continue the values of the nation.
The film opens in the fall of 1945, when the historic Ba Dinh Square resounds with the Declaration of Independence by President Ho Chi Minh . From that foundation, the work leads the audience through three decades of steadfast and heroic resistance, until 1975, when the country was completely independent and united.
