On the afternoon of January 26, Nghe An Newspaper organized the Spring Collaborator Conference for the Year of the Dragon - 2024. The conference was attended by comrades: Nguyen Nhu Khoi - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Nguyen Manh Khoi - Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee; Phan Thanh Doai - Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee; and a large number of collaborators, cadres, reporters, and staff of Nghe An Newspaper.

In 2023, Nghe An Newspaper has made efforts to continue to carry out the task of organizing a convergent publishing process across publications, meeting the requirements of "fast, accurate, correct, good - beautifully presented" in print newspapers; increasing the attractiveness and convenience of electronic newspapers and covering Nghe An Newspaper information on social networking platforms. In particular, in 2023, Nghe An Newspaper continued to affirm its position and prestige in the country's revolutionary press system by making its mark with 70 central and local press awards.
To achieve these successes, over the past year, Nghe An Newspaper has received the cooperation and companionship of collaborators inside and outside the province. Currently, Nghe An Newspaper has a strong team of more than 700 collaborators, of which the regular team of collaborators in the province has about 300 people. In 2023, Nghe An Newspaper received more than 11,126 news and articles from collaborators, of which the electronic newspaper received an average of 50 news and articles/day via email. Thanks to that, it has contributed to creating a rich, diverse and attractive source of information for Nghe An Newspaper.
The attention to building and developing a network of collaborators has helped Nghe An Newspaper have many news lines and articles that reflect comprehensively, honestly and promptly in all fields, especially at times of political events, major holidays of the homeland and country, or when natural disasters, epidemics occur...
Currently, the number of news and articles from contributors accounts for nearly 50% of the number of news and articles published on the Newspaper's publications and digital platforms. Over the past year, the Editorial Secretary and specialized departments have increased interaction, guidance, and direct professional exchanges with the team of contributors, thereby ensuring the quality of news, articles, and publishing progress. The team of contributors has become the "extended arm" of the editorial office with the grassroots.
During the year, the Editorial Board of Nghe An Newspaper directed the Nghe An Newspaper Journalists Association to organize 5 training courses on journalism for units such as: Cua Lo Town; Cua Lo College of Tourism and Commerce, Thai Hoa Town, Provincial Women's Union,... with about 1,000 participants.
"Pulling" collaborators closer to the Newspaper's Editorial Office
In 2023, to enhance interaction and cohesion among the team of collaborators, Nghe An Newspaper continues to effectively maintain the 12th Golden Moment Press Photo Award and video clip. The contest attracted more than 1,136 works by 76 authors in the categories: single photos, photo series, photo reportage and clips registered to participate. The Jury selected 11 photo works and 9 video clips to award prizes. Of which, 14 collaborators are independent authors and groups of authors won prizes in the categories.
Speaking at the conference, on behalf of the Editorial Board, staff, reporters and employees of Nghe An Newspaper, Comrade Ngo Duc Kien - Party Secretary, Editor-in-Chief respectfully acknowledged the contributions of the Newspaper's collaborators in the past time. Entering 2024, in the context of increasingly fierce competition for information. Nghe An Newspaper is determined to continue developing in the direction of multi-platform journalism, with the viewpoint "wherever there are Nghe people, there is Nghe An Newspaper". Therefore, the Editorial Board of Nghe An Newspaper is determined to implement many solutions to continuously improve the quality of the newspaper, attracting more and more collaborators and readers to the Newspaper's publications.
To achieve that goal, Nghe An Newspaper determines to strengthen propaganda, education, training to improve the stance, courage, political ideology, ethics, lifestyle and expertise, profession associated with journalistic ethics for the staff and reporters, thereby contributing to raising the responsibility to fulfill assigned tasks and work well.
In addition, continue to carry out well the training and fostering of skills and expertise for reporters and collaborators to meet the requirements of the tasks according to the publishing code; Direct relevant departments to connect and interact with the team of collaborators in the districts, select core collaborators, consider them as "centipedes" in the base, have close connections with the editorial office of Nghe An Newspaper; ensure timely and adequate facilities to serve the task of publishing daily newspapers. Innovate the way of presenting daily newspapers, improve the quality of articles on electronic newspapers according to the motto "fast - accurate - attractive" to maintain and promote the brand of Nghe An Newspaper...
Nghe An Newspaper also determined to promote emulation movements, have appropriate reward mechanisms; Encourage creativity, contribute ideas, implement new ideas and methods to innovate publishing features, forms of publication presentation, especially on digital platforms to increase interaction, promotion, and increase the spread of Nghe An Newspaper...
At the 2024 Collaborator Conference, collaborators also listened to the sharing about the profession and attachment to Nghe An Newspaper from writer Tong Phuoc Bao - a young writer from Ho Chi Minh City; poet Van Cong Hung from the Central Highlands; useful economic information from expert Phan Duy Hung from the Vietnam Federation of Commerce and Industry, Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Quang Binh branches. Especially, the sharing about the companionship of Nghe An Newspaper in supporting localities to solve some difficult and complicated problems in the area was shared by comrade Nguyen Minh Hanh - Head of the Propaganda Department of Do Luong District Party Committee.
On this occasion, the Editorial Board of Nghe An Newspaper awarded Certificates of Merit to 16 outstanding collaborators with outstanding achievements in 2023; and rewarded 7 outstanding works with high impact and strong spread by collaborators published in Nghe An Newspaper in 2023.
