A nest of sea turtle eggs was discovered in the Wao beach area - Hon Lon.

On August 25, Mr. Le Dinh Khiem - Head of the Department of Fisheries, Sea and Islands said that in the morning of the same day, in the Wao beach area (next to Ninh Dao residential area, Hon Lon island, Van Phong bay), 20 hatchlings from a nest of sea turtle eggs were released into the marine environment. Previously, 15 baby sea turtles that hatched early were released into the natural environment; about 40 sea turtle eggs in the process of hatching are being monitored and protected.

More than 30 days ago, Mr. Phan Duy Hung - an employee of a tourist area at Wao beach discovered the sea turtle egg nest mentioned above, with about 100 eggs, some of which were damaged. Mr. Hung took measures to protect this sea turtle egg nest, and at the same time monitored the process of the eggs hatching into baby turtles to release them into the natural environment.
